Friends of the Institute for Child Health Research

The Friends of the Institute are a group of volunteers who act as advocates for the Institute in the wider community. This network of volunteers helps provide financial support and raise awareness for the Institute's research activities.

'Friend-raising' and fundraising are important aspects of the Friends' goals. The Friends of the Institute host regular fundraising activities in their communities, to raise money for child health research at the Institute.

The Friends are proud to make meaningful and worthwhile contributions to many of the research projects at the Institute. This includes supporting projects that impact upon Australian children, providing scholarships for students at the Institute and funding professional development opportunities for some of our brightest young researchers.

Current Friends groups are based in Perth and Margaret River.
