Social and emotional wellbeing One in five young people in Australia struggle with a mental health problem and the incidence is rising.
Our research looks at the factors that are causing this increase and what can be done to help make a child more resilient. Some of the solutions start before birth by supporting the mother to have a less stressful, healthier pregnancy. Others look at the role of nutrition and parenting. We are piloting a new program called ARBOR (Active Response Bereavement OutReach) to support those newly bereaved by suicide. Read more>>
