Making a Commitment to Australian Reconciliation

On the 9th July 2007,  a Statement of Commitment to Australian Reconciliation was signed at a ceremony during NAIDOC Week by Institute Director Fiona Stanley and Kulunga Manager Associate Professor Colleen Hayward.

 

NAIDOC Week 2007 was a huge success at the Institute with more staff across the Institute actively participating in a range of activities coordinated by the Kulunga Research Network.

The Statement of Commitment to Australian Reconciliation was developed by the Institute to reflect the organisational support for the process of reconciliation between the Indigenous and the non-Indigenous peoples of Australia.
