The Institute Facility
The Institute is Western Australia’s only research facility dedicated to child health. Established in 1990, the Institute's inaugural and current Director is Professor Fiona Stanley AC.

The Institute is a non-Government, not-for-profit organisation with strong affiliations with the State children’s hospital and all the major WA universities.

The culture and environment at the Institute is one that is:

  • stimulating
  • exciting
  • dynamic
  • flexible and family-friendly
  • social and interactive.
The Institute building is purpose-built, smoke free (including the grounds) and close to amenities such as the city, public transport and the cafes, restaurants and shopping of popular Subiaco and West Perth.
The facilities within the Institute include a well equipped seminar room, atrium area for informal and formal social gatherings, excellent laboratory facilities and meeting rooms. The atmosphere is one of dynamic energy and dedication.
